What People's Say About Place

Haven't been here in several years. Everything had been remodel and menu updated. Employee was very helpful, atmosphere pleasant and very clean. No waiting. I had a #11 with waffle fries and cheese sauce. I was very impressed with everything. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures today.

My favorite sandwich place in the QC. The only downside is the lack of customization. It's getting better with online ordering, though. Their chili is great. Their bread stays soft in the fridge and their ingredients are always fresh. Their cheese fries are fantastic. The last time we ordered it was < 30 minutes from order to being ready.

Great food, all of it was hot and fresh. Went in a week or so ago. New guy running the front register. Friendly and attentive. Will stop by again when in town

It was worth driving to Hungry Hobo from Chicago with my friends. I was recommended by one of friend and I really enjoyed the sub & fries. It was worth every single penny. I would visit again in future.

I have loved hungry hobos since I was a little kid. By far they have the best sandwiches in the Quad Cities and are very reasonably priced.

I have been eating the Number 11 King with Everything + Onions and Peppers since the Little King in Rock Island became the original Hungry Hobo. On Monday, August 11, 2025, I was served the most perfect sandwich it has ever been my privilege to devour. I don't know who made this sandwich but may the Universe bless you and I hope you make all of my sandwiches from now on.

It's been a while since I have been to a Hungry Hobo. I was never impressed before, but the sandwich I had today was excellent! The price was right too! It's hard to get a decent meal for two people for $20 anywhere but that was exactly what I spent. I'll be back!

Great value, reasonably priced. Potato salad is really good.
